Woven and made in our weaving workshops
Basque linen designers and weavers for four generations, the Lartigue family perpetuates the art of weaving with creativity and passion from its workshops in Bidos and Ascain. Les Tissages Lartigue wanted to highlight their know-how by creating their own brand of traditional Basque linen.
This is how «Lartigue 1910» was born
Entering the weaving workshop, the visitor is immersed in the rhythmic universe of looms, looms and other mechanical machines. He admires the ancestral gestures of the weavers in the middle of the interlacing of cotton threads.
Thanks to this mastery and this know-how, Lartigue 1910 was labeled Living Heritage Company (Epv) in 2017 and Geographical Indication (Ig Basque linen) in 2020.
